Aluminium oxide produced commercially is obtained by the calcination of aluminium hydroxide. Calcined alumina products are used in a wide range of ceramic and refractory applications. Alumina offers many specific properties - High compression strength, resistant to abrasion, chemically resistant, high hardness, high thermal conductivity, high dielectric strength and resistant to thermal shock.


General Uses for Calcined Aluminium Oxide:

  • Fillers for resin
